I think all of us have an innate desire to be an actor. Sure. Everyone has done it. Acting in front of your parents to avoid being disciplined.

Yes, acting is in all of us. At some point in our lives, we have had to act to avoid a difficult situation. So good or bad, we act out at least once a day. I was drawn to it by the appeal of testing my voice to see how far it can take me. But the truth is I really enjoy working a script. Playing it in several different ways. Letting the client hear my range.

It is not easy to become a true VO actor. It takes time and patience, and persistence.

That’s why I love it so much. I have the time to focus exclusively on VO work, but that is great, and feels really, really good.
